Driving while intoxicated:
Michael A. Frank, 41, was arrested early this morning near Hendrickson Road for drunken driving, driving with a blood-alcohol level over 0.10 percent, and failure to stop at the direction of a peace officer, a Class C felony. Police said Frank failed to stop when they tried to stop him at 1:25 a.m. today at Egan Drive and Sunny Point. They said Frank drove fast down Sunny Point Road, turned onto Hendrickson Road and fled into the woods, where he was arrested.
Police received a report at 7:40 a.m. Tuesday from Glacier Highway of a stolen mailbox.
Police received a report at 11:20 a.m. Tuesday from Mendenhall Loop Road of an Alpine CD player stolen from a vehicle.
Police received a report at 10 p.m. Tuesday from Glacier Highway of a stolen day timer.
A man, 25, was cited for reckless driving following a three-vehicle accident at 1:30 p.m. Tuesday near Douglas Highway and Vista Drive. One vehicle had $5,000 damage, and the others had $3,000 damage each. No further details were available.
A vehicle driven by a woman, no age given, collided with a bicycle, ridden by a man, 56, at 2:25 p.m. Tuesday near Stephen Richards Drive. The cyclist suffered a small bump on his head.
A man reported at 6:15 a.m. today from Sanders Street that his vehicle was hit by another vehicle during the night.
Bears were reported at 9:30 p.m. Tuesday near Trafalgar Street and 11:45 p.m. Tuesday near Delta Drive.
Juneau fish and wildlife troopers cited a Juneau man, 20, on July 6 for making a false report on a sport fish license. Arraignment is scheduled in Juneau District Court on July 25.

A boy, 16, was cited and released at 12:30 a.m. today near Egan Drive and Mendenhall Loop Road for driving without a valid license.

Juneau Crime Line Inc. is offering a cash reward of up to $1,000 for information leading to the arrest or indictment of the person or people responsible for burglarizing a coffee stand in the Mendenhall Valley on or about May 28. The forced entry caused $300 damage, and more than $1,000 in cash was taken.
