Juneau police, fire officials, hospital officials, Juneau Crime Line and state troopers reported:

Thefts, lost/found items:

About 5 p.m. Tuesday, a man reported he found a Schwinn 10-speed bicycle on Riverside Drive.

Shortly before 9 p.m. Tuesday, a woman, 20, reported she had lost her wallet at a Lemon Creek business and will meet with staff at the business to review security tapes.


About 8 p.m., police arrested a man, 33, on a Lemon Creek area road for assault after an altercation at Bartlett Regional Hospital, where he was being evaluated due to intoxication.

About 10 p.m. Tuesday, a woman, 39, was arrested in the Lemon Creek area for domestic violence assault as well as assault of a police officer. She was additionally charged with interfering with the report of a domestic violence crime. She was lodged at the Lemon Creek Correctional Center.

Animal encounters:

Shortly before 10 p.m. Tuesday, a woman from the Switzer Village trailer court reported to police that she was upset with bear activity at the court. She was referred to the Alaska Department of Fish and Game for assistance.

About 5:30 a.m. today, police received a report of a bear showing no signs of aggression in the area of Malissa Drive in the Mendenhall Valley.

Vehicle accidents:

An engine and two ambulances from Capital City Fire & Rescue responded about 5:20 p.m. Tuesday to a vehicle accident near the intersection of Hurlock Avenue and Glacier Highway. A 1998 Chevy was rear-ended by a 1986 Pontiac. The Pontiac's driver, a man, 18, was cited for failure to maintain a safe distance. Both vehicles sustained about $3,000 damage. Two women were transported to Bartlett Regional Hospital for treatment. A woman, 26, was treated for mild whiplash and discharged in good condition at 7:40. A woman, 51, was treated for a right shoulder sprain and a chest bruise, and discharged in good condition at 7:55 p.m.

Warrant arrests:

About 2 p.m. Tuesday, a man, 38, was arrested on Village Street on an outstanding $1,000 warrant from the Juneau Police Department issued for failure to appear. Alcohol was involved in the incident. He was lodged at state prison.


Shortly after 1 a.m. today, a woman, 51, was arrested in front of a bar on South Franklin Street for violation of court-ordered conditions of probation. She was lodged at state prison. Alcohol was involved in the incident.
