HYDABURG - The SouthEast Alaska Regional Health Consortium will host a special Denali KidCare pediatric dental clinic at its Hydaburg Health Center on Aug. 17-21.
This special pediatric clinic will feature dental examination appointments on Monday and Tuesday, Aug. 17-18, with follow-up treatment taking place later in the week (Aug. 19-21). The clinic is open for children younger than 18 years old who are currently enrolled in the State of Alaska's Denali KidCare program or are on Medicaid. Dr. Phillip Hartgraves will lead the pediatric dental team for this clinic.
Parents and guardians who wish to have their children participate in this special clinic in Hydaburg should call Tony Stevens at the SEARHC Hydaburg Health Center at 285-3462 to schedule an exam appointment. Denali KidCare is a state program designed to make sure Alaska resident children younger than 18 of working and non-working parents, and expecting mothers who meet income guidelines, have insurance so they have full access to health care. SEARHC partners with the Denali KidCare program to provide special clinics around the region when pediatric dentists are available.
