Stewart, Paddock marry

Brie Ellen Stewart of Juneau and William Paddock of Palatine, Ill., were married in a ceremony at noon, July 5, at the Mount Juneau Inn. A reception followed at the inn.

The bride-elect is the daughter of Beth Stewart. She is a graduate of Juneau-Douglas High School and is currently employed as a research technician for Northwestern University.

The groom-elect is the son of Bill and Alison Paddock. He is a graduate of Truman State University in Missouri, and is currently employed as a research specialist for NCS Pearson.

The couple will make their home in Chicago.

 

Worley, Casto engaged

Diane Worley and Joel Casto announce their engagement to be married. The bride-elect has lived in Juneau since 1995 and is an employee of the Alaska Department of Health and Social Services, Office of Fetal Alcohol Syndrome. The groom-elect came to Juneau with the U.S. Coast Guard in 1990 and retired in 1994 after a 25-year career. He is currently employed by the Alaska Department of Environmental Conservation.

The couple will marry in a private ceremony in Juneau on Sept. 2, with a reception for family and friends to follow at the Fiddlehead, Di Sopra.

 

Chapin, Musielak marry

Charly Chapin of Juneau and Ben Musielak of Sault Ste. Marie, Mich., were maried in a ceremony on July 1 at Indian Cove, Juneau. A reception followed at Henry's (formerly Tabby's).

The bride-elect is the daughter of Carol Dana and Tom Chapin. She is currently employed as an embroiderer at Capital Embroidery.

The groom-elect is the son of Cindy VanLuben and Ben Musielak. He is employed as a union carpenter for Alaska Stone and Concrete.

The maid of honor was the bride-elect's sister, Nicole Monroe. The flower girl was Charly's daughter, Darian Chapin.

Best man was Brian Martin.

The couple plan to make their home at Indian Cove in Juneau.

 

Koch, Lorenz to wed Aug. 11

Rose Marie Koch of Juneau and Steven Robert Lorenz of Madison, Wis., will be married in a ceremony at 3 p.m. Aug. 11 at the Shrine of St. Therese. A reception wil follow at 5:30 p.m. at Mike's Place. Friends and relatives of the couple are invited to the wedding and reception.

The bride-elect is the daughter of Donald and Mie Koch. She is a graduate of Carleton College in Northfield, Minn., and is employed at Greenhill School in Ann Arbor, Mich., as a mathematics teacher.

The groom-elect is the son of Robert and Sally Lorenz. He is a graduate of Carleton College and is a graduate student at Michigan State University. The maid of honor will be Londi Tomaro, and the bridesmaids will be Nobu Koch and Stephanie Ota. The best man will be Gualberto Garcia-Jones, the groomsmen Scott Haddock and Benjamin Warren.

The couple will make their home in Ann Arbor.

June wedding for Miller, Rountree

Sherry Miller of Reedsport, Ore., and Doug Rountree of Juneau were married in a ceremony at noon June 22 at Glacier Gardens.

The bride is the daughter of Alfred and Jeanelle Miller. She is a graduate of Reedsport High School and is an information systems specialist for the Juneau Public Library.

The groom is the son of Richard and Lucile Rountree. He is a graduate of Juneau-Douglas High School and is a systems operations manager for Aero Services Inc.

The couple honeymooned in Las Vegas and Seattle, and will make their home in Juneau.
