Juneau police, fire officials and state troopers reported:


• At 5:40 p.m. Sunday, a boat in Harris Harbor was reported robbed. A hunting knife, a bottle of wine, a Minolta camera and about $60 in change were reported stolen.


• Police arrested a man, 36, and a woman, 34, on charges of larceny at 2:59 p.m. Sunday after responding to a report of shoplifting near West Willoughby Avenue. The two were lodged at the Lemon Creek Correctional Center.

• A specialized men's bicycle, valued at $250, was reported stolen at 3:10 p.m. Sunday near Highland Drive.

• A compact disc was reported stolen at 4:59 p.m. Sunday from an unlocked vehicle near South Franklin Street.

• At 11:55 p.m. Sunday, a silver cigarette case and a purse were reported stolen near Salmon Creek.

Traffic stop:

• Police impounded a vehicle at 8:21 p.m. Sunday on Mendenhall Loop Road near Cinema Drive after citing the driver, 20, on a charge of driving without a valid license.

Animal encounters:

• A woman reported to police at 10:41 p.m. Sunday that a bear was wandering through a residential area near First Street in Douglas.


• A bicycle was turned over to police at 12:27 p.m. Sunday after a man reportedly found it in his yard near Manor Avenue in the Mendenhall Valley.

• An empty rifle box was turned over to police at 12:27 p.m. Sunday after it was reportedly found near Glacier Highway.
