Elkinton's celebrate 50th

Former Juneau residents Bill and Alma Elkinton celebrate their fiftieth wedding anniversary 4 to 5:30 p.m., July 17, with a reception at the Church of the Nazarene in Juneau.

They were married April 8, 1955, in Rocky Ford, Colo. He retired in 2000 after a forty year career in education with the state of Alaska. She is a homemaker and grandmother to their eight grandchildren. The couple lives in Maryville, Tenn.
