Reports from police, fire officials and state troopers:

Sound off on the important issues at

Traffic accidents:

• At 12:57 p.m. Wednesday, a green 1999 Chevrolet TrailBlazer, driven by a 31-year-old male, was struck by a maroon 1998 Chevrolet Suburban, driven by a 32-year-old female. The TrailBlazer received $1,500 in damage, and the Suburban received only minor damage.

• At 3:14 p.m. Wednesday, Juneau police received a report that a yellow 2003 Chevrolet TrailBlazer was struck by a green 1994 Ford Explorer. The amount of damage was undetermined.

Hit-and-run:

• At 1:05 p.m. Wednesday, Juneau police received a report that a gray 2001 Dodge Durango was struck by an unknown vehicle. The Durango sustained $1,000 in damage.

Vandalism:

• At 9:30 a.m. Thursday, two tires were reported slashed on a 2004 Subaru Impreza in the 9100 block of James Boulevard.

Drunken driving:

• At 11:37 p.m. Wednesday, 40-year-old Shane Street was arrested for driving while intoxicated. Street was lodged at Lemon Creek Correctional Center. The vehicle was impounded.

Theft:

• At 4:24 p.m. Wednesday, a 73-year-old woman reported a man's gold nugget watch was stolen sometime since May.

Burglary:

• At 4:26 a.m. Thursday, a burglary was reported in the 3500 block of Douglas Highway.

Found property:

• At 3:54 p.m. Wednesday, a blue organizer was turned in to Juneau police and placed in safekeeping.

• At 7:15 a.m. Thursday, a blue 4300 Alpha bicycle was turned in to Juneau police and placed in safekeeping pending contact with the owner.

Animal complaints:

• At 6:11 a.m. Thursday, a bear was reported in the 3000 block of Tongass Boulevard.

Driving without a license:

• At 6:30 p.m. Wednesday, 34-year-old man was cited and released for driving without a license. The vehicle he was driving was impounded.

• At 10:24 p.m. Wednesday, 25-year-old woman was cited and released for driving without a license. The vehicle was impounded.
