Plant evacuated after toxic leak

PORTLAND, Ore. - Seven people have been admitted to a hospital and another 14 have been treated following a carbon monoxide leak at a produce plant north of Salem, Ore.

Authorities say firefighters were called to Curry & Co. in Brooks after the leak was discovered.

At the time, there were 40 workers at the plant, which was evacuated.

Seven workers reported minor injuries and were taken to Salem Hospital.

Dennis Robinson with the Marion County Fire office says firefighters aren't sure yet what caused the leak.
