Wahto, Watts to marry July 22

Tamara Wahto and Chad ``Kit'' Watts, both of Juneau, will be married in a ceremony planned for 1 p.m. July 22 at the Mendenhall Glacier Covered Viewing Area. A reception will follow at 3 p.m. at Eaglecrest Ski Lodge.

Friends and relatives of the couple are invited to the wedding and reception.

The bride-elect is the daughter of Dennis and Linda Wahto. She is a graduate of Fort Lewis College in Durango, Colo., and is employed by ACS Wireless.

The groom-elect is the son of Patti and Royce Locke of Juneau, and Bernie and Sandy Watts of Cocoa Beach, Fla. He is a graduate of Juneau-Douglas High School and is employed by the city and borough of Juneau.

The matron of honor will be Myiia Whistler, with bridesmaids Tyra Lowe, Tanya Grush and Jaime Watts. The flower girl will be Sophia Wahto.

The best man will be Adam Furlong, with groomsmen Jason Bavard, Aaron Mitchell and Jonathan Sims. The ring bearers will be Matthew Whistler and Kasey Watts.

The couple will make their home in Juneau.

Eichmann, Gilday to marry July 22

Megan Suzanne Eichmann of Bothell, Wash., and Gregory Laker Gilday of Juneau will be married in a ceremony at 4:30 p.m. July 22 at Smokey Point, Wash. A reception will follow.

Friends and relatives of the couple are invited to the wedding and reception.

The bride-elect is the daughter of Pamela Eichmann of Bothell and Jack Eichmann of Renton, Wash. She is a graduate of Bothell High School and Western Washington University in Bellingham, Wash.

The groom-elect is the son of Pat and Sharon Gilday of Juneau. He is a graduate of Juneau-Douglas High School and Western Washington University.

The couple will honeymoon in Italy and make their home in the greater Seattle area.

Thompson, Buettner to marry Aug, 4

Lana Thompson and Pat Buettner, both of Juneau, will be married in a ceremony planned for 6 p.m. Aug. 4 at Auke Bay Recreational Area. A reception will follow immediately after.

Friends and relatives of the couple are invited to the wedding and reception.

The bride-elect is the daughter of Dean and Diane Paddock. She is a graduate of Auburn Adventist Academy in Auburn, Wash., and is a travel agent for Southeast Executravel.

The groom-elect is the son of Larry and Helen Buettner. He is a graduate of Walla Walla High School in Walla Walla, Wash., and is a meat department manager at Fred Meyer.

The matron of honor will be Lisa Herrington. The best man will be Mike Bellevue. The flower girl will be the couple's baby girl. The ring bearers will be Landon and Christian Thompson.

The couple will honeymoon along the Oregon coast and make their home in Juneau.
