Driving while intoxicated:
About 3:15 p.m. Thursday, Kenneth Willard, 27, was arrested on Main Street for driving while intoxicated and driving with an invalid operator's license. He was lodged at the Lemon Creek Correctional Center. His vehicle was impounded and towed.
About 11 p.m. Thursday, police arrested Mark Clark, 38, at Marlintini's for driving while intoxicated, sixth-degree misconduct involving a controlled substance and reckless endangerment. He was lodged at state prison. His vehicle was released to a woman, 21.
Thefts, lost/found items:
About 3 p.m. Thursday, a girl, 17, reported the theft of a pink girls' mountain bike from Short Court.
About 4:30 p.m. Thursday, a man, 38, was arrested in the Mendenhall Valley for domestic violence assault. Police transported him to state prison.
At 8 p.m. Thursday, a man, 32, was arrested in the Mendenhall Valley for domestic violence assault. Alcohol was involved. He was lodged at state prison.
About 3:45 p.m. Thursday, a woman, 46, was placed under citizen's arrest on Lemon Creek Road for open lewdness after she exposed herself to a neighbor. She was lodged at state prison.
About 9:30 a.m. Thursday, police responded to a vehicle accident near Savikko Park. The accident involved a 1994 truck driven by a woman, 32, which sustained negligible damage; and a 1986 Honda Accord driven by a woman, 19. The Accord sustained about $300 damage. Fault for the accident was assigned to the older woman, but she was not cited.
About 11:30 a.m. Thursday, police responded to multiple reports of an accident at Egan Drive involving a 1986 Chevy truck driven by a man, 54, and a 1998 Subaru Impreza driven by a man, 70. The Subaru sustained $2,000 in damage. The man, 54, was cited for unsafe backing.
About 7:30 p.m. Thursday, a Subaru operated by a woman, 20, was struck near Alaway Avenue by an Oldsmobile operated by a woman, 63. The Olds sustained no damage. The Subaru sustained $2,000 damage. The older woman was cited for driving with an expired operator's license and for failure to yield. The younger woman was cited for driving with a revoked license.
About 9 p.m. Thursday, a bear was reported in the trailer court on Churchill Way. Police issued warnings to several children who were chasing the bear.
About 9:30 p.m., police receive a complaint from Kodzoff Acres trailer park that a black bear was trying to gain entry into their shed.
About 10 p.m. Thursday, police received a complaint of a bear in traffic at Mendenhall Loop Road and Egan Drive.
About 11 p.m. Thursday, police received a report that a bear had gotten into garbage on North Street.
About 11:30 p.m. Thursday, residents of Switzer Village trailer park reported a large black bear in the vicinity. They said the bear did not appear to be afraid of humans but was not aggressive.
About 2 a.m. today, police received a report of a bear in a large trash bin at the upper parking lot of Cedar Park.
At 8 p.m. Thursday, a man, 45, was arrested on Franklin Street on an outstanding Alaska State Troopers $5,000 warrant for failure to comply with conditions of his court-ordered probation. He was lodged at state prison.
Shortly before 10 p.m. Thursday, police cited a man, 23, near the intersection of Front Street and First Street, for driving with a revoked license.
