Juneau police, fire officials and state troopers reported:

Assaults:

• A woman, 31, was arrested at 11:45 p.m. Friday downtown for assault, two counts of disorderly conduct and resisting arrest. She was taken to the Lemon Creek Correctional Center.

Thefts:

• A woman reported at 7:45 a.m. Friday from Glacier Highway that her unlocked vehicle had been entered Thursday night and a Nebulizer and seven CDs were stolen.

• A man reported at 7:45 a.m. Friday from West 11th Street that CDs and a wooden box were stolen from his unlocked vehicle.

• A man reported at 10 a.m. Friday from Shell Simmons Drive that a gray digital camera was stolen from an unlocked vehicle.

• A woman reported at noon Friday from Sixth Street in Juneau the theft of a Pentax camera in a green case and a notebook from her parked vehicle Thursday night. The notebook was found.

• A man reported at 1 p.m. Friday that his vehicle was broken into while it was broken down on Egan Drive. A Kenwood car CD player and two speakers were stolen.

• A woman at 5 p.m. Friday in the Lemon Creek area reported the theft of a black nylon zippered purse containing a small amount of cash, ID and other papers.

• At 9:45 p.m. Friday a man in the Juneau area reported that a woman stole his sterling silver chain and cross.

Drugs:

• A man, 40, was cited for 6th degree drug misconduct at 4 p.m. Friday near North Douglas Highway. He was released.

Vandalism and criminal mischief:

• Police received a report at 3 p.m. Friday from Willoughby Drive that seven lights in a parking lot appear to have been shot out by a BB gun.

Vehicle accidents:

• At 6 p.m. Friday near Willoughby Avenue, a woman, 40, driving a 1989 Honda Civic reported that her vehicle was rear-ended by a 1990 Subaru driven by a man, 60.

Hit-and-run incidents:

• A woman reported at 4:15 p.m. Friday from Gold Street that her black 2000 Toyota Echo was hit by an unknown vehicle while parked overnight.

Animal encounters:

• At 4:30 p.m. Friday three children were reported chasing a bear in the Lemon Creek area. The bear left the area.

• At 5:30 p.m. Friday from Cinema Drive a bear was reported getting into Dumpsters. The bear removed a bag of garbage and carried it into the woods.

• At 7 p.m. Friday near Birch Lane a bear was reported getting into trash.

• At 8:45 p.m. Friday near Trafalgar Avenue a bear sow and cub were reported in the area.

• At 10 p.m. Friday near Thane Road people were reported feeding a bear bird seed in a parking lot. The incident was forwarded to the litter officer.

• At 12:30 a.m. Saturday in the Lemon Creek area a bear was reported eating garbage. The report was forwarded to the litter officer.

Other:

• At 9 p.m. Friday near Main Street a man, 27, was cited for driving with a revoked license. The vehicle was released to a licensed driver.
