Port and Painter wed

Liana Wild Painter, of Juneau, and Andrew Port, of Twisp, Wash., were married on July 8 at the Juneau Yacht Club. A reception followed the ceremony.

The bride is the daughter of Rodger Painter and Linda Wild. A graduate of Juneau-Douglas High School, she works for Juneau Physical Therapy.

The groom is the son of Mike and Patty Port. He is a graduate of Liberty Bell High School and works for the United States Coast Guard.

The maid of honor was Maddie Levy. The bridesmaids were Lia Carpeneti, Sarah Moore and Krysten Port. Katherine Ashton was the flower girl.

The best man was Eric Vogel. The groomsmen were Mike Perry, Matt Port and Alexei Painter. Abe Levy was the usher. Caleb Kinnear was the ring bearer.

The couple took their honeymoon in Seattle. They will make their home in Juneau and then Twisp.
