Juneau police, fire officials and state troopers reported:

Driving while intoxicated:

Patricia Green, 51, was arrested for drunken driving at 2:30 p.m. Saturday on Douglas Highway. She was taken to the Lemon Creek Correctional Center, and the vehicle was released to her husband.

Andrew Hughes, 34, was arrested for drunken driving at 8:43 p.m. Sunday on Commercial Boulevard. He was taken to state prison and the vehicle was impounded.

Jadene Florendo, 27, was arrested for drunken driving at 1:19 a.m. today on Atlin Drive. She was taken to state prison.


A 67-year-old man was arrested for third-degree domestic violence assault at 12:59 p.m. Sunday. The incident in question occurred at 4:52 a.m. Sunday in the Mendenhall Valley. He was taken to state prison.

A 29-year-old man was arrested for domestic violence assault, domestic violence criminal mischief, domestic violence burglary and violation of a domestic violence protection order at 6:23 a.m. Sunday on Douglas Highway. He was taken to state prison.

A 25-year-old man struck another 25-year-old man on the head with a lock in a sock at 8:25 a.m. July 10 at the Lemon Creek Correctional Center. The assault was reported to the Alaska State Troopers, and the case remains under investigation.


An 18-year-old man was arrested at 10:07 p.m. Saturday for theft after he drove off without paying for $30 of fuel from a valley service station. He was taken to state prison.

Vandalism and criminal mischief:

Two residences on North Douglas Highway were paint-balled sometime Friday night. The vandalism was reported at 10:21 a.m. Saturday.

A report was received at 12:41 p.m. Sunday of a residence on Riverwood being struck by orange paint balls sometime during the night.

Underage drinking:

A 20-year-old man and a 19-year-old boy were cited and released for minor consuming at 9:17 p.m. Saturday in the Lemon Creek area.

A 21-year-old man was cited and released for providing alcohol to minors at 10:02 p.m. Saturday at Skaters Cabin.

A 20-year-old woman was arrested for unlawful use of a driver's license, unsworn falsification and minor on licensed premises at 2:30 a.m. Sunday on Glacier Highway near downtown. She also was cited for minor consuming and was taken to state prison.

Vehicle accidents:

A 21-year-old man was cited for careless driving after his Chevy PK bumped into a blue Mustang at 4:08 p.m. Sunday on Mendenhall Loop and Mendenhall Mall roads. There was no apparent damage to either vehicle; a 17-year-old girl was transported to Bartlett Regional Hospital, treated and released.

Animal encounters:

Bears were reported on Taku Boulevard at 10:35 p.m. Saturday and on Hayes Way at 6:43 a.m. today.


A 34-year-old woman was arrested for criminal trespassing at 9:21 p.m. Sunday on Third Street downtown. She was taken to state prison.

A 42-year-old man was arrested for disorderly conduct at 9:52 p.m. Sunday on Front Street. He was taken to state prison.
