Deputy Mayor John MacKinnon's letter to the editor (July 13) regarding the pulltab tax delinquency was very interesting. His baseball analogy doesn't make sense to me. But since he's used the baseball analogy, I will use it, too.
Why do the rules of this ballgame allow the pulltab operators to operate while not paying taxes? I recommend a rule change!
And more importantly, why did the city allow this game to go into "extra innings?"
Lastly, as a homeowner paying property taxes, can I be a designated hitter?
