Longtime Juneau resident Ann Louise Griffeth died July 4, 2008, in Juneau. She was 87.
Born July 19, 1920, in California, she graduated from Balboa High School in San Francisco. She was a Juneau resident for 28 years and retired from the state of Alaska Division of Retirement and Benefits.
She was a member of St. Paul's Catholic Church.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Al and Grace Coutts; and sister, Alberta Bennett; and brothers, Alex and George Coutts.
She is survived by her husband, Walter Griffeth, of 67 years; children, Linda Perez and her husband, Vic, of Juneau, Vicki Trafton and her husband, Donald, of Scottsdale, Ariz., Pat Ellis, of Juneau, and Walter Griffeth and his wife, Coco, of Fremont, Calif.; grandchildren, Stephen Hartman, and Sarah and Andrew "AJ" Griffeth; great-grandson, Lucas Hartman; and sister, Patricia Vella, of San Francisco.
At her request, no services will be held.
