FAIRBANKS - A grand jury has indicted a Fairbanks resident accused of stabbing a man during a chaotic altercation in April.
According to Fairbanks police, 20-year-old Randy Attla assaulted a 23-year-old man at a home where a large number of people were both inside and outside. The attack occurred after someone yelled they saw a rifle, and the crowd rushed in.
Police say several witnesses identified Attla as the man who inflicted the non-life-threatening stab wound.
Attla is charged with first-degree assault. He denies any involvement.
