Sarah Elizabeth Dryden of Toronto, Canada, and Scott Lee Peterson of Juneau will be married at 6 p.m. on July 20, 2002, at the conservatory of Casa Loma in Toronto. A reception will immediately follow in the library of Casa Loma.
The parents of the bride are Lynda and Ken Dryden. Dryden receieved her bachelor's degree at Harvard College and her master's degree at the University of Cape Town, South Africa. She is employed as a middle school teacher in Cambridge, Mass.
The parents of the groom are Sheila and Len Peterson. The groom is a graduate of Harvard College and is in his final year as a medical student at Harvard Medical School.
The man of honor is Michael Dryden, brother of bride. The best woman is Heather Peterson, sister of groom.
The couple will be spending the next year working on research and service projects in South Africa and Uganda. Sarah will be researching refugee education on a Fulbright Fellowship. Scott will be working on a tuberculosis and HIV project supported by the Sheldon Fellowship.
They will honeymoon in Azores, Portugal.
