Drink it up

Being a bartender during the summer is a good job for any number of reasons. At the top of list, though, has to be the time spent dealing with customers. "We really enjoy the people. It's a special interaction you have as a bartender and customer," says Lynda Wallace, a bartender at Tobacco Road in Miami Beach. "People go out to have a good time, to be treated well and to experience new things, and we can be a guide to help them do that."
