Juneau police, fire officials and state troopers reported:

Thefts:

• At 5:30 p.m. Friday near the Auke Bay campground, a woman reported the theft of a suitcase, life jacket, earrings, sleeping bag and other items valued at $600.

• At 6:30 p.m. Friday near Willoughby Avenue, a boy, 17, was cited on a charge of larceny. He was released to a responsible adult.

• At 7:30 p.m. Friday near Distin Avenue, a man reported the theft of a yellow, 15-speed Schwinn bike valued at $50.

• At 5 p.m. Thursday near Birch Lane, a woman reported that a stereo and case of CDs had been stolen from a 1984 Ford Bronco.

Traffic stop:

• At 6:30 p.m. Friday near Vanderbilt Hill Road, a boy, 16, was cited on a charge of driving without a license. He was released and his vehicle was impounded.

Animal complaints:

• At 8:50 p.m. Friday near Glacier Highway, a woman reported that a bear was on her back porch "getting into oil."

• At 1 a.m. Saturday near Glacier Highway, a man reported that a bear was eating garbage on a porch.

Underage drinking:

• At 1:50 a.m. Saturday near Fox Farm Trail, four men, age 20, 19 and 18, were cited on a charge of underage drinking. They were released.
