Fuel leak contained at Elmendorf base

ELMENDORF AIR FORCE BASE - Elmendorf Air Force Base officials said an 80-gallon fuel leak has been contained, and they are working on cleaning up the site.
The fuel leaked Wednesday from the wing of a parked C-17 cargo plane at the northwest edge of the base in Anchorage.
Environmental engineers were notified of the early morning leak, and officials said the spill team responded immediately.
