Reports from police, fire officials and state troopers:
Assault:
At about 5:35 p.m. Wednesday, a 28-year-old woman was arrested on a charge of domestic violence assault in the 17800 block of Point Stephens Road. She was lodged at Lemon Creek Correctional Center.
Fraud:
At about 4:05 p.m. Wednesday, a woman reported receiving a fake $50 bill in the 5100 block of Glacier Highway.
Theft:
At about 12:15 p.m. Wednesday, a man reported the theft of three fire extinguishers in the 3300 block of Tongass Boulevard.
At about 1:15 p.m. Wednesday, a man reported the theft of compact discs, tools and groceries, together worth $220, from a 1991 Toyota truck in the 18100 block of Glacier Highway.
At about 6:15 p.m. Wednesday, two 14-year-old girls and a 15-year-old girl were contacted regarding an accusation of shoplifting in the 600 block of Willoughby Avenue. Police said a report will follow.
Vandalism:
At about 8:25 p.m. Wednesday, a woman reported vandalism to her vehicle with what police called "perhaps $12,000 in damage" in the 4200 block of Taku Court.
