ANCHORAGE - Alaska State Troopers on Thursday confirmed the identities of two passengers killed after a floatplane crashed and burned last weekend.

Troopers spokeswoman Beth Ipsen said the passengers were positively identified by the State Medical Examiner's Office.

They were identified as Bradley Johnson, 47, of Cloquet, Minn., and Roger Ball, 56, of Conde, S.D.

Officials earlier identified the pilot of the plane as Thomas Iversen, 60, of Nikiski.

Troopers said the plane crashed Saturday at Big River Lakes near Kustutan south of Tyonek. The plane was fully engulfed in flames when emergency responders reached the scene.

The cause of the crash is under investigation.
