ANCHORAGE - A second person died Thursday from injuries sustained in a head-on collision on the Seward Highway.
A spokeswoman for Providence Alaska Medical Center said Riley McVitty, 23, of Anchorage died Thursday.
He was a passenger in a car driven by Danielle Jennett that collided head-on with a pickup Monday evening at Mile 99 of the Seward Highway. The driver of the truck, Jeffrey McClure of Seward, was pronounced dead at the scene.
Jennett, also a 23-year-old Anchorage resident, remains in critical but stable condition at the Alaska Native Medical Center.
