Juneau Police and Fire reported:

Assault

At 8:42 p.m. Thursday, a 21-year-old man was arrested for domestic violence assault and unlawful contact in the 4400 block of Kanat'a Street. He was taken to Lemon Creek Correctional Center.

At 11:31 p.m. Thursday, a 43-year-old man was arrested for domestic violence assault in the 2800 block of Postal Way. He was taken to the state prison.

Disturbance

At 7:19 a.m. Friday, Juneau police responded to a disturbance between a 27-year-old woman and a 41-year-old man in the 6500 block of Glacier Highway.

Driving Without a License

At 2:50 a.m. Friday, a 26-year-old man was cited for driving without a license in the 25 00 block of Industrial Boulevard.

Drunken Driving

At 9:28 p.m. Thursday, Kenneth Wendell Kitka was arrested for driving while intoxicated on Valley Boulevard.

At 7:18 a.m. Friday, Gabriel Meachum was arrested for driving while intoxicated and first-degree theft on Glacier Spur Road. He was taken to the state prison and his vehicle was impounded.

Leaving the Scene of an Accident

At 11:38 a.m. Friday, a 41-yea-old man reported his vehicle had been struck, causing $500 damage, in the 1400 block of Harbor Way. The driver of the other vehicle left the scene.

Theft

At 4:06 p.m. Thursday, theft of merchandise valued at $109 was reported in the 6500 block of Glacier Highway.

At 7:17 p.m. Thursday, a 56-year-old man reported the theft of a handgun and sight valued at $1,500 from his locked vehicle. The items were later recovered.

At 6:10 a.m. Friday, a 36-year-old man reported a pair of boots, worth $80, were stolen from his car in the 1800 block of Glacier Way. He reported $200 of damage had also been done to his car.

At 9:16 a.m. Friday, a 30-year-old man reported his bicycle was stolen from the 11400 block of Glacier Highway.

Trespass

At 2:07 a.m. Friday, a 30-year-old man was arrested for criminal trespass on Egan Drive. He was taken to the state prison.

Vandalism

At 10 a.m. Friday, a 37-year-old man reported a wall had been vandalized at the Juneau Racquet Club in the 2800 block of Riverside Drive.
