ANCHORAGE - The deputy chief of administration for the Anchorage Fire Department isn't saying why she's leaving, and city officials say only that it's a personnel matter.
The 41-year-old Michelle Weston said Thursday it was a tough decision because she loved the job and co-workers.
The Anchorage Daily News reports has been with the department since 2001 and had run the administrative and support service divisions since July 2006.
Weston says she plans to enjoy the rest of the summer kayaking, fishing and camping.
