Heidi Reifenstein and Wayne Leighty, both of Juneau, were married on June 23, 2007, in a beachside ceremony at the Thane Ore House. A reception followed at the Thane Ore House.

The bride is the daughter of Debbie and George Reifenstein. A graduate of Juneau-Douglas High School and Whitman College, she is pursuing a second degree in graphic design at California College of the Arts.
The groom is the son of Nancy Waterman and Bill Leighty. A JDHS and Brown University graduate, he is a graduate student in energy economics at the University of California, Davis.
The maid of honor was the bride's sister, Ami Reifenstein. Bridesmaids were Miah Lager, Anne Baxter, Maureen d'Armand, DeAnna Valentine-Ewing, Summer Koester-Obispo, Bernadette Spear and Cassandra Squibb. Flower girls were Taylor Reifenstein and Tatum Gende.
The best man was the groom's brother, Will Leighty. Groomsmen were Pat Race, Ole Shelton, Steve Spiess, Trent Ashburn and Brian McKnight. Ringbearers were Gavin Gende and Bob, the dog.
The couple will honeymoon on their first anniversary and make their home in the San Francisco Bay Area, returning to Juneau in a few years when they finish schooling.
