A city commission formed to analyze local government response to the energy crisis caused by avalanches in April at the Snettisham project seeks public input.
A consulting firm is putting together a report to be released in early August that will critique the city's and local utility's responses during the event.
A list of questions is provided on the city's Web site at www.juneau.org/energy/LessonsLearned.php to give people an idea how to frame comments. Commissioners want information about what went right, what went wrong and what could have been done differently, as well as suggestions for addressing similar situations in the future.
Public comments are due by July 31. They can be e-mailed to email@example.com, dropped off at the city clerk's office in City Hall, or mailed to Lessons Learned Commission at City Hall, 155 S. Seward St., Juneau, AK 99801.
