JUNEAU - Alaska's unemployment rate experienced a slight drop in June, down a tenth of a percent from the previous month.
Alaska's rate was 6.8 percent in June, when 25,325 Alaskans were out of work.
State Labor Economist Dan Robinson said the state added 1,500 job last month.
The main source of jobs was the oil and gas sector, but the construction industry saw a drop.
