AYC recently returned from Italy after participating in the Tuscany International Children's Chorus Festival, where it performed solo concerts as well as sang with choirs from Los Angeles, Greece, Hong Kong, Canada, Connecticut, Dallas and Illinois. They performed in Montacatini, Florence, and Rome, and were accompanied by the West London Festival Orchestra. Highlights of the festival were singing in Saint Peter's Basilica in Rome and being in Rome when Italy won the World Cup soccer championship.
