FAIRBANKS - A Fairbanks grand jury has indicted a man and woman suspected of breaking into dozens of parked vehicles.

Jason Bradley Brisson, 31, and Brenda Audry Rodgers, 41, were indicted Thursday on more than 40 counts of theft.

Police say the two were arrested April 28 after a woman who had items stolen from her car helped track them down.

Fairbanks police have linked Brisson and Rodgers to 16 break-ins in March and April, and they're suspected in as many as 33 cases.

They also were wanted in Anchorage.

Anchorage police say they would pawn stolen items to pay for heroin, or sometimes used stolen credit cards to buy TVs and game systems that could be pawned or traded for drugs.
