Juneau police, fire officials and state troopers reported:

Driving while intoxicated:

* Dale James, 25, was arrested for drunken driving at 5:30 a.m. Saturday downtown. He was also charged with reckless endangerment and taken to Lemon Creek Correctional Center.

Thefts:

* A chainsaw was stolen sometime before 12:20 p.m. Friday from View Drive.

Underage drinking:

* A 17-year-old boy was arrested for underage drinking at 4 a.m. Saturday on Douglas Highway near the bridge. He was released to a parent.

* A 16-year-old girl was arrested for underage drinking at 2 a.m. Saturday on Douglas Highway. She was released to a parent.

* A 17-year-old boy was arrested for underage drinking on Willoughby at 12:22 a.m. Saturday. He was released to a sober relative.

Vehicle accidents:

* A car hit a dump truck at 7:15 a.m. Friday in Douglas, causing $500 damage to the car. The 47-year-old man driving the car was cited for operating a vehicle without the correct license endorsements.

Animal encounters:

* A bear got into a dumpster at 9:30 a.m. Friday at Spaulding Beach Condos.

Other:

* Capitol Fire and Rescue responded to a small grass fire at 5:15 p.m. on Gastineau Avenue. Someone put it out with an extinguisher before they arrived.

* A 21-year-old woman was arrested for being drunk on licensed premises in the Mendenhall Valley and resisting arrest at 1:30 a.m. Saturday. She was taken to Lemon Creek Correctional Center.

* A 20-year-old man was arrested for driving without a license at 5 p.m. Friday on Glacier Highway near Twin Lakes. He was released and the vehicle was turned over to a licensed driver.

* A 25-year-old man was arrested for driving with a suspended license at 6:30 p.m. Friday on Atlin Drive. He was released and the vehicle was turned over to a licensed driver.
