Juneau resident Patrick Dean Johnson died July 17, 2010, at home after a long struggle with illness. He also endured numerous surgeries over the course of five years resulting from a job injury.
He was born March 21, 1960, in Minot, N.D. He made his home in Juneau for the last 15 years and worked as a glazier at Perseverance Glass Co.
He lived his life serving God and whoever was on that path.
He is survived by his wife of 15 years, Angela M. Johnson of Juneau; his parents, Judith and Dennis Johnson of Everett, Wash.; his brother Perry Johnson and nieces Heather and Holly Johnson of Everett, Wash.; his children Sharon (and Tim) Love, Carmen Davis and Phillip Daetwiler; his grandchildren Corporal Aaron Howard, Zachary Love, Rebekkah and Tamara Howard, Hannah, Farrah and Jonah Davis, Olivia Hickman and her father Chris, Payton, Crysta, Savannah and Makayla Daetwiler and his great grandson Isaac Aaron Coronell.
A memorial service will be held at 7 p.m. on July 21 at the Glacier Valley Church of God.
