Longtime Juneau and Haines resident Carol Ann Morris peacefully passed away on June 21, 2010 at Providence Hospital in Anchorage after a long illness. She was 59.
She was born in San Marcos, Texas on January 18, 1951 to Lloyd F. and Norma Jean Martin and was raised in Irving, Texas. She moved to Alaska in the summer of 1982. She made her home in Juneau and worked as a bank teller for the First National Bank of Anchorage's Channel Branch until 1998 and moved to Haines shortly after.
She was preceded in death by her parents Lloyd and Norma Jean and a nephew, Michael Hastings.
She is survived by her sons: Kenny Kinnamon of Texas, Jay D. Morris of Pittsburgh, Kevin S. Morris of Grants Pass, Ore., sister Mary (Gerald) Hastings of Bedford, Texas, niece Shelly Morrison of Texas and numerous relatives in Texas and Kansas.
At Carol's request, her ashes will be spread by her sons, no service will be held.
