JUNEAU - Former Democratic gubernatorial hopeful Bob Poe says he may vote in next month's Alaska Republican primary.
Poe's a registered nonpartisan and says decision will largely depend on the U.S. Senate race. Joe Miller, an attorney endorsed by Sarah Palin and supported by the Tea Party Express, is challenging U.S. Sen. Lisa Murkowski.
Poe believes it's important to keep Murkowski in office.
As for the governor's race, Poe says he has no current pick. His leading concern is the future of the state's economy, and he says he hasn't heard what he needs to firmly get behind one candidate now.
Poe dropped out of the race last month, citing a lack of funds. Democrats Ethan Berkowitz and Hollis French remain in the race.
