Hound fetches, hikes

Those who know hounds will appreciate Dakota, a cross between a Plothound and a Walker Hound. He is a fine looking dog, a neutered male with a black-and-brown, brindle coat, Dakota loves to hike, swim, fetch and keep the bears away. True to his breed, he is not the silent type.

Himalayan lap cat is loyal

Prince Dusty is a handsome Himalayan, the kind of cat that looks like a long-haired Siamese. He has blue eyes and a silky, gray and black coat. This neutered male gentleman is a quiet lap cat, a loving and loyal companion for an adult.

Dakota and Prince Dusty are available for adoption at the Gastineau Humane Society, 789-0260.
