Epperly and Pietan to marry

Bobbi Jean Epperly of Juneau and James J. Pietan of Fairbanks will be married at a ceremony at 6:30 p.m. on July 25 at Glacier Gardens in Juneau.

A reception will follow at the Orca Room at the Frontier Suites Hotel. Family and friends are welcome to attend the ceremony and buffet reception.

The bride-elect is the daughter of Gordon W. Epperly and Esther K. Epperly. She is a graduate of Juneau-Douglas High School and the University of Alaska Southeast. She is self-employed at the Art Department.

The groom-elect is the son of Glenn R. Pietan and Joanne J. Roberts. He is a graduate of Austin E. Lathrop High School and works as a microcomputer network technician for the state.

The maid of honor will be Deborah Madsen. The flower girl will be Laura Sidney. The best man will be Jason Bourgoin. The ring bearer will be Shawn Sidney.

The couple plan to honeymoon in Las Vegas and go whitewater-rafting in the Grand Canyon. They will make their home in Juneau.
