Noble honored for outstanding work with National Guard

For

enduring a most rigorous inspection of his company supply area, Sgt. Robert Noble of the Alaska National Guard was awarded the Army Achievement Medal by Brig. Gen. Stephen Korenek during a recent ceremony at the subport in Juneau. Noble's wife Joann was also recognized for her family support during the months her husband spent long hours preparing the supply area.

The award's citation reads, "Noble's inspector noted his outstanding achievement in the area of supply management and operations and was comfortable with his ability to conduct supply operations in the event of a unit mobilization." Noble is a member of Headquarters Company, 3rd Battalion (Scout), 297th Infantry.
