Animal complaint:

• At 1:08 p.m. Sunday, a bear was reported in the area on Gold Street.

• At 2:28 p.m. Sunday, a bear was reported in the area in the 200 block of Harris Street.

• At 11:47 p.m. Sunday, several bears were reported accessing a basement area in the 600 block of Sixth Street.


• At 3:21 p.m. Sunday, a burglary was reported in the 200 block of Eighth Street.

Drunken driving:

• At 9:03 p.m. Sunday, 47-year-old Shelley Ann Miller was arrested for felony driving while intoxicated on Vintage Boulevard and lodged at Lemon Creek Correctional Center. The vehicle was impounded.

• At 1:29 a.m. Monday, 20-year-old Trevor Clay Nye was cited and released on the charge of minor operating a vehicle after consuming on Egan Drive outbound. The vehicle was impounded.

Found property:

• At 1:35 p.m. Sunday, a wallet was turned in for safekeeping and returned to owner at the 200 block of Marine Way.


• At 3:57 p.m. Sunday, Juneau police received a report of chopped wood stolen from next to a residence in the 1900 block of Wickersham Avenue.

• At 7:19 a.m. Monday, a purse was taken and recovered in the 300 block of Whittier Street. $100 was stolen.

• At 9:58 a.m. Monday, a 21-year-old male reported his black and white trifold wallet, containing cash and cards, was stolen out of his unlocked white 1994 Ford truck.


• At 12:35 a.m. Monday, a 31-year-old female reported a 2007 Subaru Forester was egged in the 9300 block of Long Run Drive.
