'Man auction' set for July 26

Juneau Empire

The Alaskan Hotel & Bar will host a "man auction," beer tasting and concert on Saturday, July 26.

The "Send Emily to Montessori Training Auction" will begin at 7:30 p.m., when men and a specified service will be up for grabs to the highest bidder. Auction items include a photo safari, whale watching tour, bicycle tour and landscaping help. Following the auction will be an "all you can drink" beer tasting for $8.

Memphis-based band Deering and Down are scheduled to perform at 10 p.m. in the bar.
