Underage drinking:

A boy, 16, was cited at 7:36, a.m. Tuesday near Radcliffe Road for underage drinking. He was released to his parents.

Police cited a man, 19, at 3:23 a.m. Wednesday near John Street for minor driving after drinking. He was released and the vehicle impounded.

Vehicle accidents:

Police cited a 39-year old male for an improper lane change following a two car accident at 11:15 a.m. Tuesday. The man driving a white bus collided with a red Toyota pickup while attempting to change lanes. The bus sustained $1000 in damage and the truck sustained $5000 in damage.

A boy, 16, was cited at 7:11 p.m. Tuesday near Douglas Bridge for failing to maintain a safe distance. He was cited following a two car accident in which the boy driving a Suburu GL hit a Mazda, driven by a man, 38, when traffic stopped suddenly. The Suburu sustained $30 in damages while the Mazda sustained minimal damage.

Police cited a girl, 16, at 9:12 p.m. Tuesday near Riverside Drive and Egan Drive for failure to yield. She was cited following a two-vehicle accident in which the girl driving a Dodge Caravan hit a white Chrysler driven by a woman, 65. The Caravan had $1000 in damage while the Chrysler had $1500.

Animal encounters:

Bears were reported at 9:26 p.m. Tuesday near Cope Park, at 11:49 p.m. on Tuesday near Gastineau Avenue, and at 12:56 a.m. Wednesday near Glacier Highway and Norway Point.


A man, 46, was arrested at 12:22 p.m. Tuesday near Shattuck Way on an outstanding Juneau troopers warrant. He was lodged at the state prison.

Police cited a man, 36, at 3:52 p.m. on Tuesday near Jenkins Drive during a traffic stop for driving with a revoked license. The man was released at the scene and his car was released to a licensed driver.

A woman, 46, was arrested at 4:57 p.m. Tuesday near Teal Street on an outstanding Juneau trooper warrants. She was lodged at the state prison.

A man, 32, was arrested at 8:30 p.m. Tuesday in the Mendenhall Valley for felony domestic violence criminal. He was lodged at state prison.

Police arrested a man, 19, at 9:42 p.m. on Tuesday near Front and Seward streets on an outstanding Juneau troopers warrant. He was lodged at the state prison.

A woman, 20, was arrested at 2:40 a.m. Wednesday near Switzer Village in Lemon Creek for false alarm to public safety agency, resisting arrest and underage drinking. She was transported to the state prison.
