Elgee, Rehfeld and Funk, a Juneau CPA firm, announced the addition of four full-time employees.
Christy McNeil joined the firm's audit team. She moved to Juneau from Seattle in 2000 and graduated in 2002 from the University of Alaska Southeast with a bachelor's degree in business administration with an accounting emphasis. McNeil is a member of the Financial Managers' Society and an associate member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Alaska Society of CPAs.
Karmen Blumer has 13 years of diversified accounting experience including real-estate development, the hospitality industry, restaurant and lounge, rental property and telecommunications. Blumer has lived in Juneau for more than 20 years and is working toward her QuickBooks Pro Advisor certification.
Jeremy Ludeman, originally from Los Angeles, has joined the firm's technology services division. Ludeman has built Web sites and computers for a local tour agency and most recently was employed by Juneau Youth Services, where he worked in the information technology department as a hardware technician.
Anna Blackwell joined the firm as a member of the audit and attestation division. She graduated in 2002 from UAS with a bachelor's degree in business administration with an accounting emphasis. Blackwell came to Juneau from Fairbanks in 1994 and was formerly employed by the Juneau School District. She is an associate member of the Alaska Society of CPAs.
