Juneau police, fire officials and state troopers reported:

Driving while intoxicated:

• Thomas Gregory Giles, 45, was arrested for drunken driving at 3:08 a.m. Sunday near outbound Glacier Highway and Safeway. He was lodged at Lemon Creek Correctional Center and his vehicle was impounded.


• At 10:23 a.m. Sunday near Churchill Way, a man, 36, reported someone entered his shed and stole a 49-cc motorcycle worth $637.

Vehicle accident:

• A 23-year-old man's 1990 Subaru was impounded after an accident with a 2001 Honda Civic at 6:16 p.m. Saturday near Glacier Highway. The 23-year-old was driving without a license.

Domestic violence:

• A man, 29, was arrested for domestic violence assault at 8:49 p.m. Saturday near Glacier Highway. He was lodged at Lemon Creek Correctional Center.

Found property:

• At 12:35 p.m. Saturday, a checkbook belonging to a 37-year-old male was turned into Juneau police.


• A man, 28, was placed under citizens arrest for assault at 11:53 p.m. Saturday near Douglas Highway. He was lodged at Lemon Creek Correctional Center.

Bear complaint:

• A man, 27, reported seeing a bear near Trinity Drive at 1:12 a.m. Sunday.


• At 2:10 a.m. Sunday near South Franklin Street, a business' window was reported broken.

Lost property:

• At 8:51 p.m. Saturday near Front Street, a woman, 49, reported losing a red European sling pack, a brown leather zip wallet, a checkbook, an expensive black pen and a passport and license. The items are worth $260.
