Juneau police, fire officials and state troopers reported:

Drug incident:

• Police arrested a 28-year-old man on a misdemeanor drug charge at 3:26 p.m. Sunday while serving him with a warrant charging him with failing to appear in court on a charge of trespassing in the 600 block of West Willoughby Avenue downtown. They lodged him at the Lemon Creek Correctional Center.

Weapons incident:

• Police arrested a 29-year-old man at 6:47 a.m. Monday in the Juneau area on a federal warrant charging him with being a convicted felon in possession of a firearm. They lodged him at the state prison.


• A full six-gallon gas tank was reported stolen at 12:54 p.m. Sunday from a boat in the 6700 block of Marguerite Street on Douglas Island.

• A bicycle was reported stolen at 3:17 p.m. Sunday in the 8600 block of Short Way in the Mendenhall Valley.

Animal encounters:

• A bear was reported getting into garbage at 1:11 a.m. Monday in the 6500 block of Glacier Highway in the Lemon Creek area. Bears also were reported Sunday at 9:18 p.m. near Drive and at 10:47 p.m. in the 9900 block of Stephen Richards Memorial Drive in the valley.
