An avid sports fan, she followed the Atlanta Braves and the Minnesota Vikings. She bowled for many years in the mixed and women's league and had many close friends at Channel Bowl. She was also involved with the Juneau Golf Club and traveled to many tournaments with husband Ken. She enjoyed spending time with her family at their Douglas homes.
