Juneau police, fire officials and state troopers reported:

Drunken driving:

• Police arrested Charles Alfred Green II, 23, on a charge of drunken driving at 1:54 a.m. Monday on outbound Egan Drive at the retaining wall between downtown and the Twin Lakes area. They lodged him at the Lemon Creek Correctional Center and impounded the vehicle he was driving.


• A mountain bike was reported stolen at 12:54 p.m. Sunday in the 2500 block of Sunset Drive near the airport. Its value was listed at $650.

• A fanny pack was reported stolen at 4:25 p.m. Sunday in the 400 block of South Franklin Street. Contents reportedly included $300 and a cellular telephone.

• A mountain bike was reported stolen at 8:37 p.m. Sunday in the 9100 block of James Boulevard in the Mendenhall Valley. It was valued at $150.

• A trick bike was reported stolen at 7:03 a.m. Monday from the front of a home in the 100 block of Behrends Avenue downtown. The bike, valued at $200, reportedly was left unlocked.

• A float coat and about 200 gallons of fuel were reported stolen at 10:07 a.m. Monday from the 17000 block of Fritz Cove Road.

Vehicle accidents:

• A 2005 Subaru Legacy, driven by a woman, 59, reportedly struck a 2004 Jeep at 5:26 p.m. Sunday on Mendenhall Loop Road and Nancy Street. Both drivers involved in the accident were taken to Bartlett Regional Hospital and treated.

• At 7:35 p.m. Sunday a 1998 Ford van, a 1990 Dodge Daytona and a 1987 Honda Accord were involved in an accident in the 100 block of Egan Drive downtown. Damage was estimated at $1,500 to the Ford, $750 to the Dodge and $1,000 to the Honda.

• Minor damage was reported to a 1999 Subaru driven into a ditch at 3:39 a.m. Monday in the 5100 block of Glacier Highway in the Lemon Creek area. The driver was a man, 67.

Traffic stop:

• Police impounded a vehicle at 1:25 a.m. Monday at Sunset Street and Glacier Highway in the Lemon Creek area after citing the driver, a man, 22, on a charge of driving without a license.

Animal encounters:

• A bear was seen at 9:58 p.m. Sunday in the 400 block of C Street in the Douglas area. It was reportedly not causing any problems.
