Thanks for sponsoring my walk for cancer cure
Sound off on the important issues at
I would like to personally thank everyone who helped by supporting me in my efforts to put together Beers and Brats to Save the Breasts. With your help we have raised $5,000, towards my personal goal of $10,000. I will be walking 60 miles while carrying each one of you in my heart, for you will be celebrating this journey with me. I walk because I believe that one day there will be a cure for cancer. Thanks for participating in Painting of the Plows
On behalf of the City and Borough of Juneau's Public Works Street Division, I would like to thank the following art students, teachers and businesses that participated in the third Painting of the Plows.
Thank you, Floyd Dryden art teacher Linda Vallie, and her students, Rachel Everett, Gabrielle Larson, Sadie Harbers, Denali Hyatt, Devon Marx, Chelsey Curry, Kawee Jarach, Jaspri Sylvan and Thomas Wolfe. Also, thank you for donations from Valley Paint Center, GCI, Sign Pro and Mount Roberts Tramway.
The Painting of the Plows has been a lot of fun for kids. Look for the plows this coming winter in your area. This community project was a great success, and we appreciate very much the efforts by the kids and teachers, and the support of Juneau's businesses.
