George and Morgan wed

Susanna Rie George, formerly of Juneau, and Ross H. Morgan, of Fort Collins, Colo., were married June 3 at Orca Point Lodge on Horse Island near Juneau. The groom's father, Jack Morgan, performed the ceremony. The reception was held immediately after the ceremony and was followed with a two-hour whale watching trip.

The bride and groom met as cast members of the 2000 Up With People production. They were both singers on the mic group, and their cast traveled to Europe. Two other former cast members came to their wedding.

The bride is the daughter of John and Patty George. A Juneau-Douglas High School and Colorado State University graduate, she works at the Avon Recreation Center in Avon, Colo.

The groom is the son of Jack and Teresa Morgan. A Poudre High School and Colorado State University graduate, he is a high school math and drama teacher for Eagle School District in Gypsum, Colo.

The matron of honor was Val Joyce. The bridesmaids were Tanya Smith and Lisa Presley.

The best man was Aaron Clarke. The groomsmen was the groom's brother, Reed Morgan. The bride's brother, John K. George, was the usher. The bride's nephew, Ryan J. George, was the ring bearer.

The couple made their home in Gypsum.
