Reports from police, fire officials and state troopers:

Sound off on the important issues at

Animal complaint:

• At about 1:15 a.m. Wednesday, a bear was reported eating garbage in the 4400 block of Kanata Street.

Traffic accident:

• At about 1:41 p.m. Tuesday, a 2004 Ford pickup driven by a 48-year-old male and a 1986 Subaru driven by a 17-year-old male collided in the 9300 block of Glacier Highway. Both parties exchanged information.

• At about 10:24 a.m. on Wednesday, a 2001 Chevy was reported striking a rock on Skater's Cabin Road, causing about $2,000 to the vehicle.

Trespassing:

• At 10:29 p.m. Tuesday, a 25-year-old male was arrested on a charge of criminal trespassing in the 400 block of 11th Street. He was lodged at Lemon Creek Correctional Center.
