You forgot to add the cost of the car

Letter to the editor

Posted: Thursday, July 27, 2006

The letter-writer of "Build the road for cheaper costs," July 24, compares the terrible cost for ferry travel for two adults and a 19-foot vehicle to various communities in Southeast Alaska and to Prince Rupert, British Columbia, and Bellingham, Wash., with the cost to fly Alaska Airlines to Anchorage and Seattle for two adults. In the comparison, he forgot to add the cost of their 19-foot vehicle on Alaska Airlines. And what do any of these "facts" have to do with driving to a ferry terminal at Katzehin?
