Juneau police, fire officials and state troopers reported:


• Police arrested a woman, 50, for domestic violence assault at 5:58 p.m. Sunday in the Mendenhall Valley area. Police believe alcohol was a factor in this incident. The woman was lodged at the Lemon Creek Correctional Center.


• A wallet was reported stolen from a vehicle at 12:56 p.m. Saturday near Patti Avenue.

• A red crocheted wallet was reported stolen at 6:33 p.m. Saturday near Vintage Avenue.

• A purse was reported stolen from an unlocked vehicle at 6:29 a.m. Sunday near Lemon Street.

• Clothing was reported stolen at 10:34 a.m. Sunday near Crest Street.

Vehicle accidents:

• No one was taken to the hospital following a two-vehicle accident at 7:52 p.m. Saturday near Mendenhall Loop and Nancy Street.

• A 1991 Dodge Caravan, driven by a man, 22, collided with a 1989 blue Ford Taurus, driven by a man, 23, at the intersection of Nancy and Loop Road. The 22-year-old was cited for failure to yield after stopping at the intersection. Both drivers sustained minor injuries, were treated at the scene and released.

• Bears were reported Saturday at 10:16 a.m. near Stephen Richards Memorial Drive, 3:57 p.m. near Seven Mile Glacier Highway, 6:55 p.m. near Distin Avenue, 9:13 p.m. near Ewing Way, 9:14 p.m. near Gastineau Avenue, 9:44 p.m. near South Franklin Street, 11:15 p.m. near South Franklin Street and 11:45 p.m. near South Franklin Street.

• Bears were reported Sunday at 12:09 a.m. near Gastineau Avenue, 7:53 a.m. near Lower Lawson Creek Road, 10:17 a.m. near West Ninth Street, 10:40 a.m. near Gastineau Avenue, 10:52 a.m. near South Franklin Street, 12:20 p.m. neat Glacier Highway in Auke Bay, 12:55 p.m. near First Street, 1:01 p.m. near Third Street, 1:27 p.m. near South Franklin Street, 1:27 p.m. near South Franklin Street, 6:38 p.m. near West 10th Street and Capital Avenue, 9:02 p.m. near Decker Way, 10:07 p.m. near Thunder Mountain Road, 10:23 p.m. near Second Street, 11:50 p.m. near Decker Way and 11:55 p.m. near Cinema Drive.

• Bears were reported today at 12:16 a.m. near Gold Street and Fourth Street, 1:14 a.m. near South Franklin and 1:59 a.m. near the village.


• Police cited a 26-year-old man at 5:33 p.m. Sunday at Western Auto Marine for selling tobacco to a minor.

• Police cited a 56-year-old man at 5:59 p.m. at the William's Express for selling tobacco to a minor.

• Police cited a 30-year-old man at 6:40 p.m. Sunday at Fisherman's Bend for selling tobacco to minors.

Domestic violence calls: 2.

Alcohol-related calls: 3.
